Gemma Ward may be skipping New York Fashion Week to film a movie, but that won’t stop her from walking the runways in Houston, Chicago, and Dallas. She’s somehow been corralled to join “Fashion Week Live,” a cross-country roundup of Fall’s greatest hits.

Organized by IMG, the event aims to bring fashion to its scattered fans, but it’s also putting two major forces in very close proximity: new supermodel Gemma and old-school supermodel Naomi Campbell, who co-stars on the tour.

Certain fashion scions have quietly mentioned their worry over the combination - specifically Naomi’s mercurial demeanor, at times lovely and calm and at times… not. Still, Fashionista’s not worried - it should be a gorgeous show, and whatever happens backstage, we hear that Gemma took boxing lessons in Tribeca last year, so she can certainly take care of herself!
