Fashionista's favorite Fashion Week stunts. 5. When the lights shut down at the Diesel show and the Close Encounters of the Third Kind music started blasting (or should I say, blasting off). 4 The gorgeous Fiji Water boys in the Altman Building, and the one anonymous dandy who vied to get their number. 3. Derek Blasberg, blogger. 2. Lydia Hearst's anonymous modeling appearance at Jovovich Hawk. 1. The Faux Romanian Socialite party, hosted by Trovata and Waris at the Soho Grand Penthouse. Yes, faux Romanians themselves got Gawker and Page Six obsessions. But we fell even further in love with the fake royalty and fake fashion show (for a very real brand) as soon as we saw the giant persian cat getting pet by The MisShapes. Here are some photos to match...

Actress Jordan Berkow says, "I'm not Romanian, but I am Russian. When John [Whitledge, from Trovata] told me about his idea for a Fashion Week prank, I thought it was the smartest thing I'd ever heard. But I was so afraid someone would recognize me from the photos! Also, this is Leo - he's not really my cat."

"I wanted to tell you that the Romanians were really Trovata models!" grinned designer John Whitledge, and although we knew he was lying to us, we love him anyway.

Rag & Bone designer David Neville and his wife, Lancome makeup head artist Gucci Westman, are madly in love. They are also quite pretty and cool. Yeah...

Amber Tamblyn says, "I have loved every minute of Fashion Week, but I must admit, I was wondering who these crazy Romanians were. Like, these are the people who come to fashion shows? Now that I know it was a stunt, I think it's absolutely brilliant. It should be a movie... am I making another movie? Yes, but I also may go back to TV - something very Six Feet Under. It's a hard choice." Here she is with Seventeen's Desi Gallegos, and a gorgeous smile.

Lily Cole mugs with director Henry-Alex Rubin, who tried to steal her headband. "It didn't look very good on him," admitted the new East Village resident, who only walked in one show - Erin Fetherston - "because I'm friends with her!" Look for Lily in Phantasmagoria with Marilyn Manson next year, or on Avenue A if you're in the neighborhood.
