At Marc by Marc Jacobs, A Model Admirer

selma blair.jpgagynessd.jpg

Ruth La Ferla’s article on model tastemakers was strangely prescient: 24 hours after it ran in The New York Times, Selma Blair appeared at the Marc by Marc Jacobs show in London, looking less punk and Edie-inspired as the tabloids described and much more like Agyness Deyn, the featured model in the story.

Has the style world had a Deyn O.D., or is she just the right face at the right time?

We like to think there’s a reason Agyness is famous besides her magic DNA - as you see from her Style.com strip, she doesn’t take the fashion world too seriously, setting something of an example for high school goofballs (and girls with pixie cuts) everywhere.

Her example even extends - apparently - to Hollywood stars…

I agree Agyness is cool. Why wasn't she in the Marc by Marc show do you think?
