There are plenty of ways of keeping your head warm with succumbing to wearing an animal on your head. Come on, are we fur traders in the French and Indian War? Of course not. There's no need for it. It's dumb. And people who wear them may be able to convince themselves that they're cool, probably because of some desperate sociopathic need to be perceived as "trendy", but they'll never fool me. It was definitely not on my list. At first I was very skeptical, but the thing is unbelievably. It's seen a lot of action this last week with the cold weather.
