It's like a lunar eclipse of fashion: the Grammys and the Baftas aligned in style harmony last night, and famous folk on both sides of the pond committed major fashion coups, and also some crimes. We'll let the Fug Girls do cleanup on the gross looks and instead focus on our favorites: Mary J. Blige at the Grammys and Sienna Miller at the Baftas. First let's go for Mary, in Michael Kors: She looks healthy. She looks graceful. She looks cool. Most of all, she looks like she was born this gorgeous and poised. The Michael Kors gown is perfect, and unlike the designer's slightly creepy grinning models, Mary J. can actually work her smile. And now Sienna in Ungaro: Perhaps the pantless thing didn't fly so well at the Factory Girl premiere, but the backless dress is definitely wise - no risk of cleavage slips, no mistaking your incredibly fit body, and no doubt every socialite with a benefit invitation will try and imitate it come spring. See the rest of the Baftas and Grammys, and pick your own favorite outfits.
