Luella leaves me wanting things I'm not - I want to be the girl with shiny hair. I want to be the girl who runs into the ocean at 4 am in a cocktail dress. I want to be the girl with the boyfriend that draws on her sneakers. I want to be the girl that's electric. Luella's clothes are for that girl. Because I will never be her, and because I cannot buy the $700 red derby coat or the $600 violet cocktail dress that are perfect for me, and because Julia Reston Roitfeld can and she's sitting with her mother in the front row, I leave Luella feeling totally and completely not good enough. This feeling, combined with the strapless silver minidress, means this is my favorite show so far. Also helping the obsession: those untouchably cool girls that Luella wants to reach are all in the show! While I swooned for them on the runway, model chaperone Sean Read swiped the Fashionista camera and dutifully shot them backstage. He came back with eye candy and a swelling feeling that pretending just isn't good enough anymore. Take a look, then see the whole show on Style.com...
Hilary Rhoda tries out her first look. After the show, British Vogue offered her a ride in their car!
Sasha Pivovarova's new hair color is downright dangerous.
Lily Donaldson recovers from her now-infamous birthday bash with a hair flip and extra eyeliner.
Cuckoo for Coco (Rocha)
Agyness Dean is kinda shady.
Angela Lindvall opened the show... but Behati had the most fun (and this is Romina, who was in the middle but had really nice eyes)
all photos by Sean Read. thank you Sean! xoxoxo
