When super intern Emily Weiss swept into LA on The Hills with her fancy knowledge of chinoiserie vases and uttered this now infamous line, she had everyone asking, “Is this girl for real?”
Now Emily and her West Coast counterparts, LC and Whitney, have started posting on Teen Vogue’s fledgling Intern Blog, and we’re still not sure how to answer that question.
Emily’s latest post features a photo of her and fashion news director Jane Keltner at Paris fashion week, which pretty much says it all…
Meanwhile, here are our predictions for future posts:
-Cathy Horyn and Suzy Menkes invite Emily to join a panel discussing the current state of fashion. Emily declines—it conflicts with her meeting with the President.
-LC passes on the chance to travel to Milan with Lisa Love in hopes that things work out with new, toolish boyfriend. They break up three days later.
-Whitney discusses her favorite steaming techniques, then jumps on chance to accompany Lisa Love to Milan.
-Emily saves the Condé Nast building from a hurtling asteroid…while juggling 18 credits…in Balenciaga heels. Mayor Bloomberg gives her key to the city. Anna Wintour gives her give key to the fashion closet. This is better.

i love the hills but it does seem a little far fetched for the work of interns...i should know since a couple of friends intern at teen vogue, but i do have to say that i love the predictions for the future.
