Last month, we noticed a strange post on MediaBistro: a production company associated with Laguna Beach was looking for a "fashion obsessed" assistant to work at a high profile magazine in New York, and to be on television. Her living expenses would be paid, and she would be introduced as a new character on a reality series. Naturally, we wondered if Hills star Lauren Conrad was packing up and moving to Manhattan. Last night on The Hills, we actually got some proof: When Lauren's fellow intern, Whitney Port, announced she was flying to New York for a job interview with Teen Vogue's Amy Astley, Lauren responded, "If I go out there next year, you'll be, like, my boss!" Thanks Lauren. We live for lines like that. We also live for Lisa Love, Vogue's West Coast Editor, who informed Whitney that her tumble and recovery on the runway - during a fashion segment for Good Morning America - was commended by Anna Wintour. We really hope Whitney gets the job.
