We left Old Navy for dead a few seasons ago, but a walk home from the Soho Grand changed our minds last night. That's when we saw this printed babydoll dress in the window, hanging on a plastic, headless mannequin and priced for $24.00. We actually said "No way!" and a guy on the street looked back, like we were talking to him. The dress reminds us of Diane Von Furstenberg's spring runway, and also renews our faith that sometimes - not always, but sometimes - a mass market retailer gets it right without the help of Stella, Luella, or Karl. Save us if we ever pair it with leggings and flip flops, though...
