We've heard from sources that Erin Fetherston will be the Spring '08 face of Target.
If true, this is huge for Erin and even more for the giant department store: her designs are young and fresh, they'll translate beautifully into a spring range of flirty dresses for real girls, the commercials could star Zooey Deschanel and be a total hoot, and Erin will become a bigger name across America. Also: Target will keep the cool kids enthralled.
If false, perhaps it's a good enough rumor to hopefully inspire a collaboration. I want a star scattered trapeze dress for $29.99 and I bet Kirsten Dunst does, too.
Also: is it manifest destiny for Target to snag every designer with a CFDA or Ecco Domani award?
