We adore the new Vogue Homme cover – the first created by Carine Roitfeld and her team – for several reasons, but mainly our crush comes from this:
It actually says the word “crack” on the coverline.
Granted, in French “crack” is slang for “whiz” or “ace,” but still – so brilliant.
Unfortunately, the word didn’t carry over into the English version of Vogue Homme, but the rest of the magazine is available to Americans on Wednesday.
We will certainly post more scans when we have it, meanwhile – doesn’t Pete’s striped Henley look a little like Lindsay’s cardi from Forever 21?
Leave it to Carine to nail two raging trends – vaguely sober celebrities and easy striped knitwear – in one amazing cover.
