The Disney Bridal collection is old news, but here comes its sequel:

Hello Kitty just launched a bridal accessories collection with Tarina Tarantino.

The favored jeweler of Cameron Diaz created over fifty pink and pearl pieces, intended for weddings and starring a special cartoon of Hello Kitty where she's decked in a wedding veil the color of lipgloss.

Is there anything more sacrilegious than making Hello Kitty a bride?

As it turns out, yes -

In the jewelry, she's pictured with a new hairstyle, Pat-Field-pink with side swept bangs.

the hair is actually not pat-shield-pink, it's tarina-tarantino-pink. she has been sporting pink hair for years, it looks great on her, and this is coming from a person who subjects to any dye job other than enhancing your natural color. i met her, she is a lovely person, but the whole hello kitty obsession is beyond me, especially since her flower designs are beautiful enough to carry her line. but i guess there is a lot to win by being the hype in japan.

Hey now, we weren't assaulting her character, just the fact that she put a neon pink wig on Hello Kitty! And you must admit it's awful, though without the wig and bridal veil, I would wear the necklace with jeans and a tank to brunch.

oh, nooo, i didn't mean it that way. let me try and fix this. of course there is just no good reason to put a pink wig on hello kitty. and to make her a bride! do i want to think of kitty as a soon to be sexual being? that's sacriligious.

you of course never assaulted tarina's character, i just wanted to throw in someting nice about her before i then questioned her choice of haircolor. and again, for reasons i don't fully understand, it looks good on her, she just shouldn't have passed it on to the kitty.

ok, are we good? don't hate me. without your site i wouldn't have known to order my proenza schouler for target dove coat on amazon before it hit the stores. and i wouldn't have noticed that rodarte for gap is already sold out online, and that it was time to get off the couch and score the last sz 6 tops that were available in greater los angeles. i love you ladies, it's not easy to keep up good style in a fashion wasteland like l.a.. we need all the help we can get from the west coast. keep it coming, please!

if you are looking for some pearls that are real and more elegant check out premium pearls- they are the best however these are really cute :-)
