Despite the attention of Victoria Beckham, Lady Sovereign, and thousands of Canal Street fakes, Burberry posted a 19% increase in second quarter sales this season.

Their sales have now reached £850 million - double that and it’s dollars.

Analysts think the growth is due to Burberry’s costly and craveable trench coats, as well as their must-have handbags, as seen on Kate Middleton and Keira Knightly.

But really, we all know it’s another secret weapon at work:

Christopher Bailey’s brilliant decision to put Lily Donaldson behind Kate Moss in the advertisements.
