La Mode (A La Mode)

In Paris, Cathy Horyn logged the joys of model Lara Stone.

She was adorable.

She “walked like Lurch.”

She was an actual adult, and not a thirteen year old pretending to be a sixteen year old pretending to be sex.

Now Lara is on the April cover of Paris Vogue, which seems all the stronger because of the internet dotage. And now Cathy has a new spring crush:

Apple crisp!

Which makes us wonder: If Carine tries her recipe, could her September cover look a little bit epicurious?

he there's a lot of american apparel in that issue, what's up with that? first, c'mon, shouldn't the french be past this? and second, did american vogue ever put aa shorts on their covers? inside?

she was stunning at the Proenza Schouler show...maybe it was because she wasn't trying to look brooding, or whatever...

any kind of crisp dessert is wonderful (pluot is amazing, if you can find it....)
