London Imports Last Zap of American Cool

In one week, the Victoria and Albert museum in London debuts a new exhibition called “New York Fashion Now” which seems a lot like a Seamless come to life.

The exhibit charts “the stories of twenty designers who launched their own labels in the five years between 1999 and 2004” and details the challenges these designer hopefuls faced in establishing their fledgling brands.

According to the museum’s website, the designers include Zac Posen, Three As Four, and the now-defunct Cloak.

As if we needed another reason to visit the land of TopShop…
