UK Glamour reports that Patricia Field will design a line for ASOS, which is sort of like Shop Intuition in Britain.
This marks the second time that Ms. Field has gone to London for a project this year – in February, she was helping Jenny Packham with her first Milan fashion show, and predictably, the clothes came out louder and sexier than ever before.
Patricia’s gradual move overseas brings up an interesting question. Though Ms. Field is certainly still a cherished stylist in America – with a Payless line of shoes and an Oscar nomination to prove it – her signature celebrity style might finally be fading out, replaced with the messy, sick-day chic of Mischa, Nicole, etc.
Is Sex and the City style really, finally, going away from American girls?
