TopShop mogul Sir Phillip Green has revoked his promise of an American TopShop in 2007 - last year, he told WWD that the first TopShop store in America would throw its doors open in 2007.
Instead, it seems the company will test the waters with a Barney’s partnership.
The department store has been quietly selling TopShop jeans in their stores for about a year, and come June, they’ll also carry the Kate Moss line - as will Colette in Paris.
Those wanting an early fix can still search for TopShop at Opening Ceremony in New York (and now, Los Angeles), or order shoes like these from the TopShop website.
