Her law school outing on “International Property and Fashion Design” was supposed to star Ralph Rucci, but the designer canceled out.

As a consolation prize, Yale fashion addicts will get to visit the studio of Zac Posen, and speak with Zac’s mother Susan, who’s not only the CEO of Zac Posen Inc. but also a corporate attorney.

No doubt Mrs. Posen will have lots to say about “adventures in copyright infringement,” but will Zac?

The Yale email sent to all students notes “Zac himself - who has traveled to Washington to discuss the proposed Design Protection Bill - may be able to drop by briefly early in the evening.”

And all the Ivy kids cross their fingers…
