Coach's corporate offices caught on fire yesterday, and today's morning news says one of the company's employees is indirectly responsible:
The person didn't put out a cigarette while smoking on the roof.
We hear no staffers are being held responsible, and - even better - it seems because the building is damaged anyway, most Coach employees are taking today off to get their logo luggage out to the Hamptons early.
The fire didn't affect any actual Coach bags - this is just their corporate office and not their store, remember - but still...
It brings some new irony to their new "Blow Up" comic book keychain, doesn't it?
