Vogue Paris reports that Naomi Campbell is signed on for the lead role in a film.
She’ll star in a romantic comedy called Bad Love, which follows an actress who is unlucky in love.
The picture is directed by Catherine Breillat, who earned the nickname “porno auteuriste” in her native France for her slew of films on sexuality and life.
Catherine tells Vogue Paris that she was “touched by Naomi’s modesty and humility.”
Translation: the film is going to be amazing, because apparently, Naomi is a very good actress!
We can’t wait to see the finished movie, which will be released in October or November.

Naomi Campbell in a Breillat film! Does that mean she’ll do on screen what the director is notorious for, you know, getting her actors go naked most of the time and perform unsimulated sex scenes?

Well, Naomi does need to develop a second career. I look forward to seeing her in a film, see if she can be someone other than herself.
