cruise show chan marshall wore the most fabulous pink nail polish, somewhere between barbie and neon. after wearing black or lincoln park after dark (that OPI color that EVERYONEs got on) it was rad to see cat power doing something different, but its a color that takes the confidence and inherent "badass-ness" to pull off, unlike black which is a more obvious statement.

that's really a cruise ad? it's honestly terrible, it looks like fallwinter ysl or lv to me for some reason. not that cruise has to = beach frolicking or anything, but really...

It turns out I was horribly confused - this isn't from cruise or resort, it's from their Monte Carlo collection for fall / winter.

Which is when, apparently, we can break out our black satin nail polish bottles again!

I love dark nail polish and I hate to give it up...can't it be subversive in the summer, too?

But, yeah, KK, I'm with you. I LOVE that Chanel fuschia polish. So summery and beachy. Maybe I'll take that for a spin this week.

i heart black satin but i agree its time to give it a rest a bit. i'll definitely sport it again though as its a glorious color. but for now i have been using chanel's blanc ceramic and my old time stand by that you can't get here but is ALL OVER Rio.

i found a colour by wet and wild in a safeway last week. It's called steel and looks like an aluminum foil version of the platinum coloured chanel polish. I think it's a brand new colour...

It might not be AS cool, but it looks pretty amazing and metal-like... AND it's 10x better than the DIY version I made myself :s

I mixed the silver in my room, it got all over my carpet, but my toes look rocking!!! Im gonna put red on my hands tho...red styles, ala Jackie Kennedy!
