To answer some questions from last time:
1. We do ask the bag people ahead of time, but it’s literally minutes before the cameras roll. I think it’s awfully rude to just shove a camera in someone’s face and ask for their handbag, so we compromise a little spontaneity for the chance to prepare people.
2. The reason we stop normal people and not “D List Celebrities” is because we like real people more. Occasionally we do ask designers, socialites, and models what’s in their bag, and if you scroll through the “Your Bag” archives, you can see that.
