Versace Hearts Catherine McNeil

When Mario Testino falls in love, he falls hard.

Example: Catherine McNeil, the seventeen-year-old model from Australia who caught his eye with Carine Roitfeld, and immediately booked 35 Fall shows, then landed on the cover of V Magazine.

But that’s not all:

Catherine McNeil is reportedly signed to a six-month exclusive deal with Mario Testino where she can’t shoot with anyone else.

That deal helps make Catherine the new face of Versace. If the rumors are true, she’ll be featured by herself on several Versace ad pages this fall.

If the rumors are false… well, then Donatella’s crazy, because Catherine would be perfect.

a little overhyped imo. from some angles she's breathtaking and others not so much. but anything that reignites an interest in models is good. she'll suit versace that's for sure.

COACD (and anyone else): Have you ever heard of a model signing an exclusive contract with one photographer? I know that Steven Meisel sometimes works with a girl for a while, but I've never heard of a six-month exclusive. Sounds so strange to me.

She really is breathtaking, and Mario's obv got a fantastic eye.
