"The Libertines are so much more than a fast fashion line at Target or Topshop thanks to 'Docherty.'" correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think the libertines and libertine have anything to do with one another. and the latter probably wouldn't like their success being attributed to pete doherty.

I totally agree with S! He's making music, trying to play through a melody, and she's sqauwking like Vicky Pollard on Little Britain. I think he's pathetically self-destructive, but "Can't Stand Me Now" and "What Becomes of the Likely Lads?" are brazilliant. The Libertines are so much more than a fast fashion line at Target or Topshop thanks to "Docherty."

i know everyone always says 'whys kate with pete', but after watching that video, the better question is how the hell does he put up with that girl? shes f*cking annoying.

i feel stupid
kate and who? pete?
J
do they just have a lot of time on their hands? love it.
I thought the first video was funny. Then I thought it was pretentious. Now, I think this is obviously not meant to be a "home video" the way people were talking about it.... they're promoting his song, right?

now this could be a fashionista essay question: please write at length the uses of satire, irony, and both external and internal conflicts with in mind iconic stereotype, flashback, and the degree of intoxication. (specific time markings would be illustrative) not enough to say, its a libs riot.

as much as i enjoy this site, promoting trash like these two almost keeps me from coming back.
