We love Erin Fetherston.
We love Target.
We love the way Erin put blonde wigs on all her models for this shoot.
And we love this collection, but you’ll have to wait for it:
The beautiful coats, dresses, and leggings don’t hit stores until November, but our secret sources sent us images today.
Enjoy, and get ready: Libertine for Target hits shelves in two weeks!

it looks very spring-like for november. the first sweater coat is gorg
I’m loving the first and last outfits. Everything in between, not so much. Some of the dresses are too…babydoll lolita.
I’m in love!
Thanks Fashionista!!
You always keep me well informed!
It’s all so adorable!
i love that giant heart bag
love everything
***we are not worthy!!!!!***
seeing these pics has made my day (heart heart)
I need the first coat. We also need a Target in Manhattan.
Looks like the best Target collection yet–the clothes seem to have some style other than being dull pieces well styled. Given the poor quality fabrics and construction in the PS line, though, I have caveats. Besides, these things are never available in NYC anyway.
Props to her for doing something interesting and not fobbing people off with boring and watered down designs.
omg well, at least the long waiting period will give me time to save up to buy EVERY SINGLE PIECE. thanks for these! so exciting!
i want it all!
I saw the lookbook this morning at my internship, and it’s incredibly sweet looking, I can’t wait!
Dosen’t this come out in like…december? january? She has me sold.
I agree with Phoebe–Most of these frocks are incredibly infantilizing. And the pigeon-toed stance with pouty upward glance isn’t helping. Design world: I am not interested in looking like a toddler!!!
OMG that first picture- the long coat. IM. IN. LOVE. and the scarf… hello genius.
I love all of it.
But some of the peices look like stuff I saw at urban outfitters last winter, even the first coat. The coat is actually one of the things that looks like an exact copy. I am also sure they won’t be much better in quality than urban outfitters, prices yes.
Also some of the dress look costumish in the picture.
But I actually really like it for the most part and it is my favorite target collection so far.
wowie wow wow wow!
Its way too sweet looking, anyone over 20 wearing some of that stuff would look like a brady bunch reject wearing pj’s.
But look #1 is great…
i am desperately in love. are the low-vamped maryjanes also from the collection? they look a bit louboutin…
AHHH THE FIRST OUTFIT COAT IS AMAZZZZING
i think the shoes might be issac mizrahi or exhiliration for target.
it would be awesome to pair the erin fetherston stuff with the hollywould for target shoes though, coming out around the same time. they are supposed to be glittery and some of the shoes have bows on them.
love it. it will be hard to wear though because it seems so costume-y. the coat is amazing and will be a staple in my wardrobe for sure. the the blouse dress thing would look great with a little belt and maybe some dark ankle skinnys
can’t wait :)
I love love love the heart bag and heart scarf. I will admit that I don’t think the quality of the GO line has been that great (except for the Luella leather jacket)
Thanks for the sneak peak!
Funny, unlike everyone else here, I hate hate hate everything about this (and most of EF’s stuff). Too cutesy, too cloying, too little girl party dress for my taste. I hate it when grown women (even those in their 20s) dress like 6-year-olds. It’s just…yuck. I went into sugar shock just looking at this overly precious collection.
I like some of the pieces but overall it is a little too twee for my taste.
Dosen’t this come out in like…december? january? She has me sold.
it’s not 1972 and i’m not 6 years old. not feeling it.
her things tend to add poundage to you
It’s cute, but I agree, it’s too little-girlish for me. I like the coat and the jumper, but the rest is indeed going to look silly on anyone of legal drinking age.
I like the first sweater-coat thing, but seeing as how I’m past puberty, everything else looks ridiculous. I mean, a babydoll dress with a ribbon-trimmed yoke AND a peter pan collar, are you serious? This infantilizing of women is sick-making.
It’s all very Zooey.
I love the little girl look! I want all of it. My boyfriend actually does complain about my outfits though, as in “why is everything you wear so big & blousy & babydollish” But it all goes back to my favorite movie, BABYDOLL (elia kazan, 1956) for the origianal sultry virgin look…. http://www.cinemasterpieces.com/babydoll6sh.jpg
Love the coats. But what are designers doing to young women? Does somebody have Lolita on a continuous loop? Anyone who walked into my office wearing one of these outfits would be stared at and not in a good way.
Very Eloise at the Plaza.
The seperates are more successful than the dresses- will that silhouette even be fashionable come November?
Sadly, I think that the shoes are all for prop and not actually sold in stores. This has been the case for nearly all of the collections- look back at the great PS shoes; those were never in stores.
i’d at least try checking target over the next couple of weeks for the shoes – hopefully (as with libertine) they did the shoots with what’s available (or about to be available) in the store at the time of the press preview…
Hmmm… sure its not coming out in October? It feels a bit Halloweenie.
I hope they sell the wigs.
This is by far the best Target collab! Judging from the pics, the Temperley collection looks great too, but I think Erin Fetherston has done the best at really giving us clothes that actually look like her designs! I feel like, save for a few pieces, most of the collections (including PS and especially Libertine) are bullshit and look very little like the real brands they’re representing. If I see one more polo, or button-up ruffled blouse from Go! International, I’m going to scream! I love the red jumper and the red dress the most!
When I want to re-create the look of a sexually precocious 11-year-old in 1967 Des Moines I know just who I’ll turn to.
Cassette Love, the PS shoes were in store…
I had to laugh when I looked at this collection! It’s ridiculous to think anyone with any true style would wear this. I’m a fashionable mom and We frequent Target ALOT. I wouldn’t even put this on my 13 year old niece. Just yuck. Do you like my mature vocabulary? It fits the collection: Yucky eww.
I love it. It’s adorable, although I wish the black and white top with the peter pan collar was a dress. Maybe I’ll just buy it and wear it as a dress.
It may be super young and cute, but it’s a popular look-
and it’s also her style in all of her collections. I want that bag. badly.
I’ve been iffy with all of the collections in Target. Untill I saw all of this…It is super cute and I love it!!! The scarf with the hearts on the end is super cute!! And the Heart bag is Dang adorable!!!! I can’t wait untill it comes to Target!!!
Oh my god in love love love
Yayyyyy!!!!!!!!!
I love, love, LOVE the first red pinafore dress and the cream coat. It’s times like this I wish I lived in the US (or at least was going on holiday there in November). Does Target sell clothes online and if so, does it ship to Australia?
IM GETTING EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Wow. It’s nice to know Erin Fetherston can follow McCall’s patterns. From 1970.
Yeeaah, so those skulls on the sweater vest from Libertine are looking really good right about now.
Admittedly “cute” and “adorable”.
I think I’d prefer to look “fashionable” and “age-appropriate”, though.
I hate to post a comment that’s basically a rehash of what several posters have said before me, but this looks like what the girls were wearing in my preschool class picture in 1984.
