Last post about the Whitney Art Party on Wednesday: There were more than a few bandage dresses from Herve Leger in attendance, and though the most photographed was Kate Bosworth's, our favorites were on Claire Bernard, Arden Wohl, and Domino fashion director Lauren Goodman, from left to right. Fabiola Beracasa also looked great, but we couldn't track her down for a photo! It's true that the party was sponsored by BCBG, which owns Herve Leger, so many felt that it was appropriate to wear his stuff. But it goes further: Lohan wore the band-aid dress with mixed results last month, and Proenza sent some Leger-inspired pieces down their Spring runway. Could Herve Leger dresses have the same cult following now that vintage DVF wrap dresses had in the '90s? And if so, will the brand revive itself with the same force that Diane's did?
