The FitFlop is a pair of sandals by a UK company that promise to tone your legs posterior while you walk.
The website claims that “The FitFlop’s uniquely built multi-density midsole activates muscles midstep to help tone your thighs, your calves and your glutes. In fact, FitFlops are biomechanically engineered to absorb shock, lessen joint strain, and recreate the gait of barefoot walking - but with a powerful new built-in micro-wobbleboard workout-enhancing effect.â€?
Ookay. It’s fast becoming minidress-no-tights weather, and the lunchtime trips to Shake Shack are taking their toll. We want to believe that FitFlops are the (lazy girl’s) answer to hot legs, but there’s a slight problem:
These shoes are hideous.
Should we shelve style for a bit and wear these things, or would the world just be a happier place if everyone stuck to their Charlotte Ronson wedges, albeit a softer one?
