H&M 'Shapes Up

Forever 21 may have our summer wardrobe covered, but this fall, our hearts belong to H&M.

Why?

Because their new face is Leigh Lezark, the DJ and Manhattan obsession who just got back from Florence, where she shot their campaign.

Despite speculation last year of a self-designed clothing range, she's just wearing the normal clothes - no H&M for MisShapes line - but the move will counterbalance the giant herd of blondes (Lydia Hearst, Erin Wasson, Theo Richards, Jessica Stam) who will wear Cavalli's newest diffusion line in H&M ads.

The new photos should be gorgeous, but... um... very filled with eyeliner.

Also: Don't expect her to smile.

Oh yeah, getting hundreds of thousands of dollars to have your photo taken is really "bottoming out."

You know what, good for her. At least she's nice and not fake.

Oh, I don't doubt companies will continue to throw money at her in an attempt to connect with a certain market. So, by bottom out, I really mean that interest in her and Mishhapes will wane. More so than it already has.

Leigh is a pretty girl and from what I know of her, which is admittedly precious little, she's got a pretty decent personality. Good on her.

Lots of people like her; you forget that people usually use this site to complain (though don't worry, we're working to change that).

Also, AM, where are you getting your info? Leigh told us last night that she'd just been in Florence to shoot.

I like that Leigh got the campaign. She would be nice for Designer labels too, Like Leigh for Louis Vuitton,Even Edie could have been in the campaign.

anyways, How come the other two aren't in the campaign. I feel bad for them, don't they like to model?
