Miller Lite

oh dear.jpg Twenty8Twelve is coming.

Sienna is already wearing pieces of the collection out on the street, but this outfit doesn’t seem to represent her line at its best.

We much prefer the pieces she’s showcasing in British Vogue.

After all, if Sienna’s a real designer now, she should understand:

You can’t take an oversize pillowcase, cinch it with a bow, throw on a bolero, and call it a day.

We know you can do better, Sienna!

We believe.

While I love the whimsical, romantic, floaty getup on Savannah, the rest is a little bland. She shapes are boring.

god, there's some really terrible retouching in this spread - especially on the thighs.

I agree this is sooo bland . There's nothing in here that can't be found at Topshop and at a third of the price. I wouldn't want the dress and the bolero even if she gave me for free. Uninspired.

Sienna worked with Savannah, who did graduate from design school. So it has some credit.

its all far to nice. i look at it and think how nice it would all look, but then you relise this kind of thing has been churned a billion times over. i was so excitied about this and now im allitle dissapointed allthough individual pieces could be spiced up alittle. x

You'll be able to get it at Barneys in August.

And to the poster who said the line had some "credit" - though I think you meant "merit" - because its co-designer, Savannah, went to design school:

There are a lot of really crappy designers out there with a degree. And a lot of really good designers out there who are mostly self taught, or who interned and apprenticed instead of going to school.

Really, the only thing that can give a collection merit is the design and quality of the pieces themselves, not who designed them, and the training they've got behind them.
