Great video Faran, stop shopping and use that budget for lighting. LOL!!! : )
But a quick question. What seasons do they carry that make something vintage rather than consignment?

God I love vintage. Great episode. And now I really want to shop.
Miss Jeffrey, as far as I know vintage vs. consignment isn't about seasons. Consignment stores sell items for people and take a commission on the sale, whereas vintage shops buy all their stock and then resell it. True, some stores do a bit of both, and some seem to interchange the terms, but there is a difference.

This was a quintessential depiction of the "vintage" aesthetic. A style so prevalent at this time I believe everyone should go meet Quinn in Brooklyn and a get a taste of what she has to offer.

being into fashion doesn't mean that you have to talk like a valley girl with no brain cells.
just a tip.

Leaving anonymous tips because you hate your life doesn't make any of your problems go away.
Just a (real) tip.
This video is awesome, and you certainly have brain cells. How else could you have the prescience to buy a vintage Moschino and single handedly run a major website?

Just to play the devil's advocate for a little bit, and to voice my puzzlement. I agree that the valley girl talk is slightly annoying because where I was raised, it brings up the stereotype of women with very little brain power or with a fake personality. Plus I never think that people talk like that for real, does that fly w/ job interviews? I never take anyone seriously who talks like that, but maybe I should? It just seems opposite from her fabulous posts, where she's a savvy witty little editor tone. Besides the tone, I love Faran, agree w/ her fashion views, and mutual despise for Tom Cruise (absolute weirdo).
But props to all the videos, keep it up team. I like the store peeks and random closet calls the best. I think the closets are better than handbags pop ins. Quinn is great and down to earth. Hope it brings alot of business to her shop.
I absolutely love fashionista.com and check it everyday to raise me from the mundane grad school life. Helps me get by.
I truly believe fashion is art. Thank you fashionista.com

Hi Nia,
Yes, Quinn is amazing! You should check out her website, www.thesethreethings.org, immediately!
But back to your main point:
Abby and I have talked that way our whole lives, and we're both from MA!
We have great jobs, we went to excellent schools, and we've never altered our speech because that would be fake and weird - and also, why? We seem to be just fine...
Of course, we both kind of want to start using British accents, but until we start getting free Vuitton bags like Madonna, we can't...

Who cares how the girls talk! They have tons of personality and are obviously excited about all of their projects! Congrats, and can't wait for the next one!
