Girls Gone Styled

Girls Gone Styled: The Green Episode

This episode is really amazing, because it shows you the secret life of Proenza Schouler’s technical designer Rainer Wolter - he has a line or organic cotton clothing that’s absolutely gorgeous…

I'm so happy that you did an episode related to green fashion. Rainer makes a really good point about designers having to deliver what the customers demand. Everyone is more environmentally conscious these days, and I don't think that eco-design is merely a trend (even for "fashionistas"!) Woohoo keep this good stuff coming!!!

actually, i think the worst thing about the whole "green fashion" movement is that anya bag. rainer is amazing for busting out the lederhosen.

What a cool idea to reuse umbrellas like that! He certainly deserved to win that contest. Bravo Rainer!

i loved this episode. great jobs ladies! i love the whole eco-chic movement and wish there were more mainstream designers embracing it. i'm constantly on the seach for eco-fashions and have only found a few that are really stylish.

I couldn't get through the episode because of the raspy, NY Valley Girl speaking style. Ow, ears.

I really don't mean this in a bitchy way, girls. It's just painful to hear. Sorry.

Sounds like you're just looking for something to complain about.

Not only is it easy to understand the girls, but they only talk for the first seven seconds of the five minute film!

But don't worry "Ann Non," you don't sound bitchy. Just weirdly pathetic and a little jealous.

Jealous? Nope. Just tired of the vocal affectation. Why is it so popular, anyway? I'm asking seriously. I just don't get why women do that to their vocal chords.

But hey, Max, feel free to make assumptions.

Once again these girls dish out something new and interesting. As a vegetarian i like seeing everyone pick a cause to help our world be a better place, if being organic is your thing this is right up your alley. it's opened my eyes.

ann non.. get a life. This isn't a space for you to rage about the entire female population, and question what they "do" to their vocal chords. You are lame, get a hobby...

"Rage?"

Wow. Did "Max" just ask a bunch of people to harsh the interloper's mellow, or what?

Go Max! Earn that ... paycheck. Or whatever you get from this site.

And no, I'm not experiencing "rage." Amusement, more like.

This was a really interesting episode and it ties in with the last one about vintage clothing and how old things like clothes and shoes can actually benefit the environment. That wedding dress was gorgeous and I'd love to see what it look like on a normal human being and not a model!

Great episode! I'd definitely like to see more focus, here and everywhere, on green / sustainable / less wasteful fashion.
