While Europeans remain obsessed with Levis and Converse, we really like it when they do their own takes on US wardrobe staples. For example, we noticed kids wearing Converse-esque sneakers that have a slightly pointed toe, like these ones from Red or Dead (about $40). The slight change in shape makes the sneaker narrower and slightly more fashion-y and feminine. This version from the British shopping chain Schuh also comes in Crayola colors, which are so fun. We don’t know if Americans are ready to ditch their All-Stars just yet, but if there’s room in your closet for one more pair of shoes, we highly recommend parking these guys next to your hi-tops. --ALISON COOL
