It’s Vintage….Target.

If you want Kate Moss for Topshop stuff, it’s on sale all over town. They’re practically giving away those yellow striped shorts and the matching vest.

But what happens to more desirable designer/mass market collaborations after the fact?

Obviously, they go on eBay.

We slept on the Luella for Target collection when it came out, and we were thrilled to discover that the cute cherry-print stuff is totally up for grabs on the site.

We have our eye on the Luella Apple Sling Bag (starting bid $12.99) for our back-to-school look, but there are also plenty of the Skulls & Hearts totes for very reasonable prices.

If you’re feeling flush, there’s a good selection of Proenza for Target stuff as well - but be prepared for a bidding war especially if you want that cute purple corset dress, which is already over $50 with over two days to go.

Worth it?

I sold my Paul and Joe for Target Owl purse for double what I paid. It lasted maybe an hour on an ebay Buy It Now auction. And my Behnaz charm necklace went equally fast. But a Behnaz cocktail dress and cardi didn't even have any watchers.

I bought the apple sling bag when it went on clearance at the store, and I love it love it love it.

And that Proenza dress is definitely worth it--I have the brown one, and it was, like, $50.00 new. The sizing is crazy, though--I usually wear a 4, and mine is a 0--so keep that in mind when e-baying it.

I'm actually wearing the teal version of the aforementioned empire Proenza dress RIGHT NOW. As far as I know it only came in teal and black. It's very comfortable and easy to wear.

That's so weird other katie, I have that purple Proenza dress too, in a size 1 which is my usual size and it's a bit tight. It looks perfect on but after eating a large meal out with my boyfriend the other night the band under the bust became so tight that I almost couldn't breath and my bf had to unzip me in the car.

aw, I just acquired that very P-S corsette dress for $10.50 at a new and used clothing store, much cheaper than either new or e-bay options.

I bought the apple sling back when it was on sale at Target and I love it. Unfortunately, its too small for me to carry to school, but i definitely used it for days by the pool and maybe this fall for a tote.
