The Barney's Warehouse Sale Gets Great

Some scoff at the frenzied shopping experience that is the Barney's Warehouse Sale, but we really love it.

Where else can you see Prada sheaths mopping the floor and Louboutins piled up like recycling?

If you can deal with the sacrilege, and live in New York, you might want to visit before the sale concludes on Monday.

Why?

Because everything is 60% off the last markdown price. Which means besides $30 Marc by Marc dresses, there's also a lot of Lanvin and Balenciaga, for under $400 a dress. It's an investment, but if it fits you well - and only then - you should run to the cash register.

these finds look amazing! but.. a few weeks ago i ordered a few things online from barney's and bc of the warehouse sale, they cancelled my order without notifying me and sent my things off to the sale!!

I got black suede Prada flats for under $56 and a killer pair of fendi heels for $112, from original price of $705. Not sure the season, but I like both loads and they are really comfortable. I was lucky enough to be at the shelf when the fellow was putting out a bunch of shoes in my size.

I went today and everything was 75% off! I grabbed a Marc Jacobs dress for 30 bucks. I also saw so many of these sparkly Kate Moss for Topshop tanks. I'm going back tomorrow, but I'm seriously afraid that a catfight will break out soon.

i went today and got so much stuff! lanvin heels.. miu miu wedges.. a helmut lang and rick owens tank top. i think i saw faran there too! the sale was amazing

Yes, I did go back today, just to see - now everything is 75% off the latest price, so I had to check. But I left very quickly because I realized something sad: Lanvin looks really dumb on me.

Hi Gals!

I went yesterday and got the satin Miu Miu Mary Janes, the turquoise studded Louboutins, and the Bottega Venetta wedges, all for the grand total of $342, including tax.

I couldn't be happier.

you paid too much. everything went down to 75% off the last markdown. plus i work there, so we got our discount on top of that. either way, it's sooo worth it. i got a marc jacobs runway collection shirt dress for $35, cheap monday jeans, for $3.90, a kate moss wifebeater top for $1.88, Louboutin espadrilles for $25, alaia sandals for $100, etc. can't wait for january!

I was pleased for the tips here--I usually skip the warehouse sale. I went yesterday and while it was too late to get any of the steals seen above, I got a Reyes dress that I'd tried on earlier this summer for just $42 (down from $495).
