Will Jaslene Get Booked?

Will America's Next (or just latest) Top Model pose for Fashion Week?

We don't know - but we do have her show card from Elite.

Jaslene looks really good in her industry composite, and we know her wiry frame will look great in the menswear shapes hugging the catwalk.

But we haven't heard of her appearing at any castings yet, and designers may not be interested in casting a mild TV personality.

One place we will be watching:

The runway at the Van Cleef and Arpels Paris-themed party, which promises to feature a handful of models in dazzling Van Cleef jewels, and all will be procured from Elite's boards.

Wait a minute - wasn't catwalking in 10 lbs of diamonds while surrounded by Can Can dancers a Top Model challenge?

I'm out in Las Vegas for the Project and MAGIC shows, and Jaslene is in the Southpole ads in the directory and is making appearances at the Southpole booth, which may not be a good sign about where her career is headed. I've seen other ANTM girls out here before and this ends up being about as far as their careers go.

The first comp card (the one where she has really long hair) is very beautiful. I just feel that an ANTM girl will never be a real model. She does have great measurements though.

p.s. she's 5'7 not 5'8

I just interviewed Jaslene this morning, and she said been doing FW castings all day today and yesterday. She's quite nice to talk to, also.

she looks gorg in the first photo, but in the others, she looks jsut as bad as she did on ANTM. i think petra's show is going to have more successful models in one season than all the ANTMs combined

No to sound like one of those "all models are too skinny" broken records...but seriously - girl looks brittlely thin.
Not so much waif glamorous, but more so 'hot 20's face on a malnourished bedridden 80 year old body.'
Not hot....

who was a contestant in the Swedish version of ANTM. She probably has a better chance than Jaslene in getting booked for the s/s08 shows.

The women on Petra's show are GORGEOUS!!!! I would stare at them if Isaw them in real life. Tyra picks people with stories that are good for reality tv. Although, I saw the castings try outs in Seattle and not one of those girls could model. I like Jaslene. I think she should gain 10 pounds, and I really am one of those that is fond the of the super skinny look.

Actually Elyse from ANTM season 1 is a famous model in a lot of asia, shes huge in hong kong, china, and in a lot of europe

she may have been annoying and whiny on tv but i just love her look. however, the Aussie Vogue shoot was part of her prize, so i'm interested to see where she goes from here.
