I was really impressed by how similar the SM’s were to the CL’s – I mean REALLY impressed.. but then i compared the enlarged photo of both shoes side by side — SM literally COPIED THE EXACT SAME PICTURE of the CL – look! every nap of the suede, every wrinkle of the lining leather, even the exact angle of the criss-cross straps? COPIED. SM photoshopped their label on and made the sole beige.
If I can see this, then i’m sure CL can get a good little lawsuit going even if it’s just using an altered copyrighted photo for profit.
And I’m also relieved to know that maybe there’s still a chance that knock-offs will never compare to the real thing.
