Memo to cosmetics counters:
If last night’s Costello Tagliapietra show is any indication, you will soon sell out of your spring colors.
We know because a little NARS bag with eyeshadow samples was left on every seat, though well before the show we noticed a few poorly behaved crashers – and we’ll add poorly dressed, though fine, that’s mean – swiping each makeup bag as their own.
We dismissed the behavior as limited to Fashion Week kleptos – you know, those people who scoot from show to show and carry ten goody bags with them?
But it turns out, no.
We witnessed fashion editors discretely sweeping the NARS palettes into their bags. The girl behind us stole ours when we got up to greet a friend. And to our left, Molly Sims quietly slipped her own goody bag into her larger purse -
We wonder if she’s finally exhausted her Cover Girl supply?

i was at a shoot yesterday and the makeup artist and i were discussing the levels of dangerous chemicals in makeup that are finally just now being exposed. nars is one of the worst. if you go to http://www.skindeep.com, you can read all about it.
i love nars blush but it definately makes you think twice about products…….the best thing to be is educated.
nars makeup contains chemicals linked to the following according to skindeep.com:
Cancer
yes Developmental/reproductive toxicity
yes Violations, Restrictions & Warnings
yes Allergies/immunotoxicity
yes Other concerns for ingredients used in this product:
Neurotoxicity, Endocrine disruption, Persistence and bioaccumulation, Organ system toxicity (non-reproductive), Multiple, additive exposure sources, Irritation (skin, eyes, or lungs), Enhanced skin absorption, Contamination concerns, Occupational hazards, Biochemical or cellular level changes
i figure that i would mention this as we all seem to be trying to eat more organic foods……and no, i don’t work for skin deep!

I think stealing other ppl’s loot bag goodies is sooo tacky – but everyone likes free stuff. Even models with million dollar contracts. So what if she took her own gift bag?
