One of BCBG's biggest strengths is sensing the next big face, and their show lineup proved it.
Besides a luminous Stam and a stormy Freja striking the catwalk, there were Tanya D., Irina K, and Annabela, who closed the show in something pastel and swooshy.
Tanya D. was whooshing Annabela through the photographer line, introducing her as "my new girl." It was pretty adorable, but there was also something strange: in 2-inch wedges, we stood the same height.
Meanwhile, another "new" face - at least, a face with a new nose - graced backstage:
Ashlee Simpson, who looked beautiful, but also smartly aware of her surroundings. "It's like, good morning, right?" she sighed to her handlers, as photographers swarmed.
Behind her, the reedy Snejana crept into the fray, and studied Ashlee with a quiet smile.
"She's just so... small," sighed the light girl in a heavy accent, and then she stepped up to the runway.
