We’re not comfortable wearing fur, ever.
But we were also horrified by the PETA protesters outside of the tents. Why?
We just don’t understand how women dressed up as “sexy fashion cops” in egregious shorts, knee-high-boots, midriff-baring tight shirts, and tacky police hats are supposed to make a point that would interest fashion editors and buyers.
Do they think those outfits are “fashionable”? They look like your average college girl gone slutty for a night Halloween costume. They would work better if they were protesting against Hooters instead of fashion designers. In case PETA hasn’t noticed, there aren’t a lot of straight men in the fashion industry.
So, did Anna Wintour run away from the PETA cops last week because they tried to give her a “fashion felony” ticket for promoting fur and animal products…
Or because she couldn’t stand to see such a trash-tastic outfit up close?

Um, I'm going to guess that they did it because it was tacky and it was visible, not at all because it was fashionable. It is a little condescending to PETA to suggest they thought it was, don't you think?
If they wore long pants and long shirts, and milled about handing out "tickets" I doubt anyone would notice. Or, they could be mistaken for the real deal and that could get kind of bad and complicated pretty quick.
