For a long time, we've been looking for an understated gold chain necklace. You know, subtle but not boring? But it's been so hard! Until we found the memorably-named and totally fantastic "Dirty Librarian Chains" collection from NYC jewelry designer Susan Domelsmith. All the pieces are made from vintage materials and so each one is a little bit different. That's all fine and good, but we are especially excited about the names that Domelsmith has given to each of her designs. They range from the mildly nerdy ("Glossary") to the over-the-top hilariously dorky (e.g. "Card Catalog," "Collation," "Database"). Our personal favorite is this "Dissertation" necklace (about $170). One day we'll write one, but until then we'll wear one! --ALISON COOL
