It looks like Emmy Rossum and Ralph Lauren are finally over.
Emmy was conspicuously absent from Ralph’s front row and anniversary dinner during fashion week—though she was in town, and did attend Catherine Malandrino.
The final nail in the coffin:
She showed up at a party this week wearing a bronze sequined Calvin Klein number.
What’s more intriguing:
The speculation that Emmy was the inspiration for Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf. They even cast an actress who looks more than a bit like her for the TV show.
Though if Blair starts wearing Ralph Lauren in every episode, it will no longer be a dead giveaway…

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if Emmy and Ralph has some sort of falling out, or if the girl just woke and realized that yes, Ralph Lauren's clothes are pretty, but there are thousands of other designers out there to wear.
As for the Blair inspiration - they do seem to have styled Blair after Emmy. I don't really associate the two because Emmy has such a clean image, while Blair's character is bitchy and crafty.
This is off topic, but did Emmy get breast implants? Her boobs look gigantic in that picture...either she's found a great demi bra, or she's made the full transition from NY chic to LA bimbo.
