You may know Mary Ping from her collaboration with Converse, but to see her recent Paris collection, Abby crashed her studio for a more serious look.

Then she crashed her closet; quelle surprise.

If you're looking out for Mary's clothes, be sure to tune into the Slow And Steady Wins The race show during New York Fashion Week, which the designer helms along with her own work.

Meanwhile, a note about my wardrobe in this episode:

I had a 101 fever and kept shivering, so Abby told me to keep my sweatshirt on and my hood up.

I realize this doesn't save me from ridicule, but I will say that every skateboarding kid who zoomed by us during filming stopped in his tracks and asked where it was from (answer: Kid Robot, and the bunnies glow in the dark).

i definitely dig the "polished punk" thing, as i grew up punk as fuck and definitely can't look the same way now as i did then. however, i'd definitely wear the hooded cape.
the closet animation thing seems kind of out of place, there's got to be another way you can start/end the segment. otherwise, another great episode.
oh and yeah the kid robot hoodie is silly but who cares what anyone thinks of what you're wearing. sure you run a fashion web site (and write elsewhere) but i don't expect you to be dressed to the 9's every time i see you out. but people are going to bitch about it anyway so fuck 'em.
