We love the idea of Gen Art–the foundation gives young labels free group runway shows that introduce them to editors (and potential buyers).
But even though we have Gen Art to thank for the catwalk debuts of Zac Posen and Sari Gueron, we’re not usually blown away by the collections they showcase.
However, this year we were impressed by Je-Won Hwang and Parsons alum Yoon Chang’s label – Whistle & Flute -.
What’s not to love about a line inspired by “1960’s London gangster meets the sexy femininity of Anita Pallenberg”?
