When a show opens with Lil' Mama singing "Lip Gloss," you know you're safely planted in TRL territory - especially with a front row that boasts Sean Combs and Lance Bass. But even we couldn't have expected Heatherette's new kidswear line, which is so spot-on, it threatens to overtake everything from Gap Kids. Taking inspiration from rockabilly styles, like those 1950s poodle skirt halloween costumes, the Heatherette boys have actually made clothes that look comfy and fun for kids to wear. The only problem we saw: If you grow up wearing Heatherette, what do you wear for your rebellious teenage years? Designers Richie Rich and Traver Rains addressed that question a little later in the show, with a few leafy print dresses and a poufy gold dress that might be able to carry you from college to cocktail hour with the right pair of shoes (and an understated cropped jacket). --ALISON COOL and FARAN
