It’s fall, so the leaves are rapidly dropping off the trees here in the northeast. But sadly, there aren’t so many trees in the city, at least not for those of us whose apartments look out over concrete instead of Central Park.
Luckily for us, Seattle-based jewelry designer Sarah Hood has incorporated the stark look of bare tree branches in the winter in her beautiful “Arbor” collection of sterling silver and 24k gold.
Necklaces, earrings, and brooches are adorned with the delicate shapes of tiny tree branches, occasionally studded with a tiny gold leaf. We especially love the earrings – about $360.
While many of Hood’s gorgeous jewelry designs are housed in museum collections, we’re happy to report that she sells a good selection of her work on her website.
