We're sure you wouldn't have left your costume planning until the very last minute, but if you're desperate you might get inspired by the American Apparel website.

They've created about ten costumes - including Twiggy, Marilyn Monroe, and our personal favorite - the cast of Scooby Doo - made entirely from items available at American Apparel.

We also couldn't help but notice that every single one looks like a cross between a Halloween costume and what the employees are wearing every time we go into one of their stores.

That gave us a flash of inspiration and a hilarious Halloween costume idea: American Apparel employee!

You could style this any number of ways, but don't forget the sporty knee socks - and don't forget that you're in excellent company. We hear that the super Valerie Bolster of Vogue is wearing all American Apparel during her Halloween!

Twiggy? I think that's supposed to be Edie and Andy Warhol.

I would wear the two-tone swimsuit and two-tone leggings and go as a jester...if only I could juggle!

I was an American Apparel employee for a halloween party on Saturday night. It was an easy costume. The inspiration came to me when my boyfriends Mom found a yellow bandana wrapped in gold thread from the eighties in her closet. I wore that with a white vneck and leggings and little eighties booties she found also.

A final add and the icing on the cake for the American Apparel employee costume: a blase, hipper-than-thou attitude.

I wouldn't call an American Apparel employee a hilarious costume idea... maybe mediocre.

I also thought that was Edie Sedgwick and not Twiggy
