We just got an interesting text about IMG Models:
According to our source, who works very closely with the company, they’re selling off their men’s division.
The move makes sense, we guess, since their women’s section boasts Kate, Naomi, Gemma, Freja, and both girls named Lily. With that kind of fashion pack, working overtime is a must.
Meanwhile, IMG just bought Art + Commerce, the creative agency with powerhouse stylists, photographers, and makeup artists - another group that requires long hours. And male models are notoriously booked less, paid less, and noticed less, all liabilities when an agency wants to stay ahead.
But how can a company walk away from cuties like William Foster, pictured at left?
We can’t believe it…
Update:: Our source texts back, “Believe it! The men’s team are taking the men’s board and making a new powerhouse.”
