Rumors are swirling that Irina Lazareanu and Pete Doherty are getting married, after Irina was spotted sporting an engagement ring backstage at several shows yesterday.
Irina told WWD that she had “very recently” gotten engaged, but would not say if a date was set for the wedding.
Some are skeptical, and believe that the announcement is intended to get back at Kate Moss—
Who is rumored to have proposed to new boyfriend Jamie Hince in September.
We won’t be surprised if neither marriage happens. But if Irina’s does come off, we’ll be waiting eagerly to see who designs her dress:

Irina is my favorite model by a landslide but I will lose respect for her if she commits herself to this drug abusing loser. He is such a talented guy wasting his life away and I want her to be no part of it!
