Kate Moss has showcased her vocal talents before, most notably in Primal Scream’s cover of “Some Velvet Morning”… and that weird Pete Doherty duet from last spring.
But could she soon have a hit single of her own?
American Idol czar Simon Cowell got snapped with Kate at the launch of her Christmas collection for TopShop on Tuesday, and Style.com reports they were hanging out all night.
We don’t think it was because he’s a modelizer - although yes, that too - but rather, because he wants to sign the supermodel.
“I would like to offer Kate Moss a recording contract, whether she can sing or not,” the music mogul was quoted as saying in The Mirror last year.
“The thing about Kate is that she’s a star - it’s the ‘Kate factor’. People attach themselves to her and instantly become interesting.”
Will Kate follow pal Naomi Campbell’s footsteps and release her own Baby Woman? Please say yes.

You know how recently there have been articles bringing up the question of whether Kate is "over"?
Well, I don't think she is, necessarily. She's as lovely as she ever was, and her recent fashion missteps (and I consider them missteps only in comparison to her prior choices; in comparison to any one else she's still on top) are nothing permanent.
The only thing that could possibly hurt her, and which I think is currently hurting her, is OVEREXPOSURE. Fashion lines, a perfumes, a too-public, messy relationship, and now this? I mean, one of the things I use to love about Kate was that she didn't try to be everything and do everything. She pretty much stuck to being the world's best model. And that was enough.
PS: And her voice ain't that great.
