We love us some embroidery and needlepoint. But as we all know, sometimes it can be a little too cloying. And of course, it's always tempting to wear t-shirts with rude slogans, but we've never felt angry enough to sacrifice an entire outfit in order to send a message. So when we found Locher's, the Paris-based label of well-cut pastel tees with dainty embroidery of flowers - accompanied by a subtle dirty or vindicative message - we felt like this: We wanted to call our therapist, bewildered that a t-shirt could express our innermost feelings so precisely. Now we're stuck - how can we decide between the embroidered message, "Good Luck. Motherfucker," and the dainty pastel tee with tiny leaves and text reading "Will Fuck for Shoes" ? --ALISON COOL
